The cot is padded, has mesh sides to increase the airflow, and the mattress is made from high-density foam for extra protection. It can also be cleaned and you can keep the crib clean. It includes a fitted bed sheet that is suitable for the crib.

It can also be used as a stand-alone crib if it is not attached to the bed. It's packed with features created with the bonding of parents and children in mind.
The most important thing to keep in mind is that although this crib is ideal for infants, it will not last long after your child is six months old, and you will have to purchase larger cots. However, overall Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide was a really good buy and she particularly liked its sleek design.
The Roomie Glide is available to purchase at John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna felt was a reasonable price for a cot featuring these innovative features. She liked how it looked in her bedroom and thought the grey color would work in the majority of modern homes. However, she did point out that it's not an ideal idea to rock a smaller baby as it could set a bad habit for later sleep patterns.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside crib designed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep in mind. It has a drop-side rail which can be easily lowered for nighttime feeds without having to wake your child or get out of bed it's ideal for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house during naps and for travelling.
It's made of soft material and has mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It comes in oak or charcoal with a range of melange fabrics that blend with all styles of decor. Anna discovered that it was sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. The legs snapped into place and the zippers were secure to ensure safety. It took Anna approximately 10 minutes to put together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer service number should you experience any issues.
The CoZee crib comes with all the features you would expect from a crib for your bedside, including the ability to attach it to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also has six height settings. In addition it has an inclined feature that can be used to assist babies suffering from reflux or congestion. It can also be washed in the machine essential for all the spills and vomit that accompany a new baby!
The CoZee is an excellent choice to keep your child in the first six months of learning to sleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco’s more expensive alternatives. It does have a lot of excellent features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or as a standalone crib and is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel thanks to a new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, with 11 different height levels as well as feet that retract to fit under any bed.
Our testers were impressed by the ease of use offered by the side panel, that can be moved up and down with a single push of a switch. This was a huge benefit during feeding times at night, as it meant they could easily reach inside and pick up their baby without waking them up.
It is possible to lower the side panel itself, but this isn't recommended because it increases the chance that your baby will get out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the parent's bed correctly. This feature is fantastic for peace of mind if you are breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.
Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases and beds with drawers. It also comes with an option to tilt to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking feature to soothe them back to sleep after eating. It's also extremely spacious and provides excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers despite the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than some of the other side-sleepers but it's still fairly mobile and can be moved from room room with ease. It's small enough to be able to fit into a travel bag when not in use which is a bonus when you have to transport it. The only drawback our testers noticed was that the side panel didn't move like some of the other models, making it a little harder to see your baby from your bed.
The Shnuggle Air
The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great option if you want a crib that grows with your child. It is designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that is attached to your bed and transform into a stylish cot when your baby is ready. It's perfect for night-time feeds and growing your bond with your baby.
The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other cribs. The dual-view mesh side panels and hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress increase airflow and keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle slope helps ease reflux and colic. The zip-down side allows you to feed your baby, or even comfort them at night.
The kit for converting cots is also well designed, with clear instructions. It comes with everything you need. It took us around an hour to complete and was surprisingly simple. The only issue with the instructions was that certain images were not captioned. This made it difficult to follow the instructions. Overall, it was an easy process and the quality of the materials used was high.
The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for women who are breastfeeding or have had a c-section. It allows them to reach out and hold their baby for comfort and feeding without leaving their bed. It's also great for mothers who prefer not to go through the difficulty of getting in and out of a traditional cot, or putting their baby down to sleep.
During our tests we observed the gliding motion of this next to me crib to be extremely helpful when it comes to getting babies to sleep after feedings at midday and in the evening. The drop-down side can also be accessible to feed or soothe babies during the middle of the night this was a huge selling point for our exhausted test moms. The Joie Roomie Glide is a elegant and practical crib that doesn't rock, or have extra features such as the sound machine.
